Man's Best friend

"Who is your best friend?" whenever someone asks you this question what comes to your mind ? A person? or maybe an animal? Well all of you must have heard this quote- "Diamonds are a girls best friend." Whoever quoted that definitely did not have a dog, because a girls best friend is her pet and most of the times that pet is a cute dog. There is a reason behind that, all of us have a problem in life and when we don't feel like sharing it with the people we know we can sit and tell the problem to our dog. I know it sounds absurd, but it actually helps. Most people say that having a dog is out of the question just because they can't have the dog near their children or that they are afraid of dogs. Let me tell you this, if you treat the dog with love and take care of it as if it is a family member they will love you more than anything in this world or any human being on this planet. 

I have a dog too, his name is Tyler and yes, he is my best friend. Though the lifespan of dogs is shorter than human beings they are the best kinds of friend that you can make. They love you unconditionally, are really good listeners and are a cute ball of fur with a wagging tail (which is why they are sometimes even better than teddy bears). If you notice many children from slums befriend street dogs and in return those street dogs protect them and keep them warm at night. If you haven't gotten a dog yet get one. The dog will not only protect you from harm, it will be a good friend to you and that is what matters at the end of the day.

Smile Of A Child

All children are cute and loving but nothing captures a heart more than a smile of a child. My heart is captured every Saturday when I go to the Davorlim government school to teach. I do not get paid for teaching; but the children's smiling faces makes my day. There are very few teachers in that school and they teachers aren't paid highly so as an extracurricular activity a few of my friends and I go to teach the classes that require a teacher. All the children welcome my friends and me with a smile and a good morning. Believe me there is nothing better than that smile and their good morning. Sometimes I wish I could go to teach those children everyday but unfortunately i am still studying and therefore have classes from Monday to Friday; the only day I have classes late in the morning is on Saturdays. At the end of the week i am blessed with good wishes from the children in the school and that makes me feel happier than my usual self.

Children are the most pure souls on the planet, and they know how to lift a person's spirits even by doing nothing but smiling. Today the school had an event, but I could not make it in time because I had a test that i could not miss, though if it wasn't an important test I'm sure i would have attended the function just to see those children smiling. They are so eager to learn something new and that is what motivates me to teach them so that they can have a life like mine and be succesful in whatever they plan on doing after their 10th standard boards.

Understanding Women

Understanding women is a very difficult task. Well I use a variety of different social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, 9GAG etc. and the thing I have noticed is that men are finding it very difficult to understand us, women. Women are God’s most beautiful creatures; they are beautiful, elegant and very loving. Beauty isn’t what makes them everything it their love, concern, affection and attitude towards different problems that makes them what they are. They are difficult to understand because they mostly have a lot going on at the back of their mind, even though they don’t show it. They are good at wearing masks and can, sometimes, be deceiving. When a woman is silent it means she is either going through some difficult times or is worried about something or is angry with someone or is annoyed with something or all of what I have just stated. I know this because I am a woman. Believe me trying to understand women is like taking five steps forward and ten steps backwards. I was going through my news feed on Facebook and I came across this post; it said that when a women is angry hug her and tell her everything will be okay, if she starts to growl , take cover and throw chocolate at her. All women love chocolates and desserts (except those who are allergic) so if you want to get on a woman’s good side buy her, her favorite chocolate or dessert.  You can also surprise her with small gifts; women have a habit of seeing the good in everything. Nowadays women are independent so if you think that she will stay by your side if you give her material things; you are wrong my dear friend, to keep her by your side you will have to be a good friend to her and an awesome listener. All women have mood swings so beware one minute she will say I love you the next minute ....... well even I don’t know what she might say it depends on each and every woman. Each woman is unique in her own way so learn to accept and love her flaws instead of trying to change her. My advice to you is “Never get on the bad side of a woman, it could be lethal.”

Friendship

Last year I received a call from my childhood friend whom I had lost contact with. It was so nice to catch up on his life and share my experiences with him. We don’t live close to each other so going for a movie or going for swim isn’t an option .All of us have a friend or friends and we all want our friendship to be strong, but for the bond to be strong, we have to take time and nurture it. For some people it is very easy to make friends, while some take time to open up to someone else. Just like when you peel an onion you see a new layer and with each layer you discover something new about your friend. Friendship is mostly based on trust, loyalty, common characteristics and common situations. Well my friendship with my childhood friend must be very strong since we remembered quite a lot from childhood, laughed over private jokes, if our phone had been tapped I’m sure those jokes would sound ridiculous. We never need to be or feel alone in this world, but it’s up to us to create opportunities that will allow the relationships to be stronger. It is up to all of us to make relationships priorities. In today’s modern world everyone is either on the mobile having a business call or they have no time to catch up with friends, but I’m sure we all can make time in the 24 hours to catch up with an old friend. They might be far away but they will never forget you, no matter what. What will help you be a good friend, is being yourself. Your friend loves you for who you are and if he or she doesn’t, well that’s not friendship, at least not in my dictionary. Being yourself is not enough you have to be honest, loyal, forgiving, helpful, etc. Well if I try to put down all the points of friendship I’m pretty sure the post won’t end, and friendship is something that never ends, it lasts forever and ever and well you know how it goes. So my advice to you make time for your friend, even a minute is enough for the bond to remain strong.
